We know it’s tricky to estimate the size of storage space you need, that’s why we’ve built a storage space size estimator tool, to help you visualise the space and consider what can fit into each space. Whether it be for Business storage or storing your personal goods, there is no need to pay for space that you just don’t need. With each click of the size buttons below, the storage space visual will show a simple view of the space compare to the size of a standard human. We’ve added a short description of what could be stored in each space.
It can be stressful and sometimes difficult to prepare your belongings for storing – long or short term. Much of the cost is in packing your belongings, and moving them to their storage destination. There’s no need to add more stress and cost to the ‘adventure’ by choosing the wrong storage facility, location or size. Depending on what you are storing, the size of the storage space is paramount to reducing the costs of short or long term storage. **Please note however, the descriptions and size estimations are a guide only.

The actual storage sizes may differ slightly from the sizes referred to here, hence Big Box storage spaces are not rented on a ‘price per square metre’ basis or on ‘square metre measurements’. All unit sizes are approximate and may be bigger or smaller than the size quoted. How much you can fit into the space will depend on the way the unit is packed, the height of the unit and type of furniture or items stored.
